The Normanhurst Estate is situated in 1066 country. The Estate had a succession of notable owners including Thomas Brassey followed by his son Lord Brassey in 1870. The modern Estate is the product of their vision and the new owners aim to build on their legacy in the 21st Century. The ambition of the new owners is to enable visitors to stay at Normanhurst and experience this wonderful place while protecting and enhancing the landscape.

Hastings and Bexhill District Freshwater Angling Club

“Hastings and Bexhill Freshwater Angling Association was established in 1895 to provide fishing venues to its members and it continues to do so to this day. The club is open to all and is administered and run by volunteers. Members are able to choose from six still waters and numerous stretches of river, drainage channel and canal venues, details of which can be found on the club website above, where details of how to become a member can be also be found.”

Dog walking licences are available to the Normanhurst Community, being those who live within the Estate or whose property directly abuts it, for £60 per annum.

“This Sussex shoot, set in 8 acres of picturesque woodland, presents a really unique venue for English Sporting layout and a Flush shoot. Our dedicated & experienced staff include full-time qualified CPSA Instructors and a ground crew who keep the traps full and the layout updated all year round. We will provide everything you need for your clay pigeon shooting experience including guns, cartridges, clays, safety equipment and of course, qualified and friendly instructors.”
